Transfer Documents from Third-Party Vendors

During the lifecycle of a case, Resonant acquires documents from third-party evidence vendors and generates documents from its correspondence component. Resonant can retain these documents until the policy is issued and then transfer them to the carrier’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system in a bulk transfer.

Near-Real Time Transfer of Documents from Third-Parties

Some environments have a need for all documents to be transferred to their ECM throughout the lifecycle of a case in near-real time. Resonant’s DocumentTransfer Job is designed to run frequently throughout the day and incrementally transfer new documents as they arrive.

Base Product Document Transfer Process

Resonant’s base product assumes that documents will be sent one at a time to the ECM system via an ACORD-510 compliant web service that synchronously responds with a URL to the document. Upon successful response, the URL will be stored within Resonant’s Document Management System, the document will be marked as being externally managed, and the local copy of the file will be deleted.
