Approval Queue Module Overview
Overview
AFFIRM features Approval Queue configurations that can be customized to meet the needs of any organization. When, where, and how an Approval Queue appears in the Order Entry process is governed by Distributor-defined rules.
Active and processed Approval Queues are listed separately in AFFIRM. Once an Order is sent to an Approval Queue, a Branch Manager, or other Approver, examines the Order using the Order Summary Report, which displays all Order details. The Branch Manager then accepts, rejects, or sends the order back to the Financial Advisor for rework.
Once the Order has been approved and routed through all applicable Approval Queues, it is submitted to the Carrier via DTCC. All changes to an Order are transmitted to an audit log, using the ADMServer Audit Log, from which an audit report can be generated for use by the Distributor or regulatory authorities.
Approval Module Applications
An AFFIRM Approval module consists of the following two separate applications:
1. Approval Queue Configuration Application
The Approval Queue Configuration application is used to create, configure, and manage Distributor-defined Approval Queues.
2. Approval Queue Application
The Approval Queue application is used to review, approve and process Annuity Orders already entered into previously defined and configured Approval Queues.
Audit Log Activities
The following types of activity are recorded in audit logs:
- Order Stage Changes
- Order Review and Disposition
Pre-Defined Surveillance Reports
AFFIRM provides pre-defined surveillance reports that facilitate real-time review of Sales Representatives. Branch Managers and other Approvers can examine all Order detail and attachments, such as notes, scanned images, and email or phone conversations captured by the Distributor’s system.
