Multiple Product Types
Within LifePipe, you can perform 4 different types of Searches:
- Term: A life product with a level premium for a fixed number of years and a guaranteed death benefit.
- Term with Simplified Issue: Same as Term but typically with a reduced number of underwriting requirements. For example, a Simplified Issue product may only require a questionnaire instead of blood test, urinalysis and other tests.
- Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL): A “permanent” insurance product with level premium and several choices of maturity age. For example, a GUL product could have a premium of $500 per year that would remain the same to age 95, 100, or 120. Each carrier’s maturity ages can vary.
- Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL) with Simplified Issue: Same as Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL) but with a reduced number of underwriting requirements. For example, a Simplified Issue product may only require a questionnaire instead of blood test, urinalysis and other tests.
