Standard Workflows

DocFast delivery workflows come out-of-the-box and define who is involved in the document delivery and what roles (e.g. Approver, Signer, Carbon Copied) they play in the process. Listed below are different types of delivery workflows supported in the solution.

Carrier > Distributor > Agent > Consumer (CDAC)
The CDAC workflow is the most common delivery used in the independent channel. Typically, a Distributor Case Manager will approve and/or sign the document before it is sent to the Agent.

Carrier > Agent > Consumer (CAC)
The CAC workflow is the most common delivery used in the career/captive channel. Instead of delivering the document through an Agency, the package gets sent directly to an Agent. Typically, the Agent will approve and/or sign the document before it goes to the consumer.

Carrier > Consumer (DTC)
The DTC workflow supports delivering a document directly to the Consumer for review and/or signature.
