Advanced Workflows

DocFast includes advanced workflow capabilities to support more complex delivery requirements. Listed below are the advanced workflows supported in the solution:

Carrier > Carbon Copy Distributor > Agent > Consumer (CDAC with CC)
The Carbon Copy workflow allows a Carrier to send a document directly to an Agent, but also Carbon Copy a Distributor Case Manager in the process. The Carbon Copied user will receive an email notification letting them know that the document is available for review on the DocFast Dashboard. Carbon Copied users have a limited set of actions that they can perform on a document package and do not need to approve or e-Sign for the delivery to continue.

This is typically used to keep a Distributor Case Manager informed of the delivery process, without requiring them to approve and/or sign the document before it goes to the agent.

Carrier > Carbon Copy Agent > Consumer (CAC with CC)
The Carbon Copy Read Only workflow allows a Carrier to send a document directly to a Consumer, but also Carbon Copy an Agent in the process. Carbon Copied Read Only users only have the ability to view the document package on the DocFast Dashboard. This is typically used to keep an Agent informed of the delivery process, without requiring them to approve and or/sign the document before it goes to the consumer.

Note: This workflow is identical to the Carbon Copy workflow (above), with the exception that the Carbon Copy Read Only user has no ability to take action on the document package on the DocFast Dashboard.

Carrier > Distributor > Sub Distributor > Agent > Consumer (DTC)
The Sub GA/Distributor workflow allows a Carrier to support a Distributor who has one or more affiliated and/or sub agencies working underneath them. Typically, the parent Distributor will review the document package before transferring it to one of their sub distributors for approval and/or processing.
